How To Use Yacht Varnish?
Shake or mix well before use. To ensure a faster drying, do not work under direct sunlight. Do not apply too thick with a brush or roller. Apply the head parts (cut and head parts) until the fibers are well saturated.
Primer: Depending on the absorbency of the floor, thin the Boat and Yacht varnish with 20-40% CLOU EV-Thinner and apply it to the wooden surface.
Middle Coating: After drying, lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper, clean, thin the Boat and Yacht varnish with 10-20% CLOU EV-Thinner and apply 1 coat.
Finish: Apply up to three times without thinning. Allow to dry for at least 14 hours between all coats and sand and clean with 240 grit sand each time.
The primer and the intermediate coat are just like the new painting. If the old varnish is still intact, only the last layer is sufficient.
